REfire doesn’t cost its students anything.

Our goal is to provide students with full scholarships to cover their uniforms, ServSafe certification, as well as the food necessary for training.

If we can help people who have formerly been incarcerated in our community stay out of the system and become productive members of our workforce, this initial investment will be invaluable. 

Our annual fundraising goal is $50,000, which would cover all student tuition and the purchase of necessary food and supplies for training.

What can I do?

Thanks for asking! You can hire REfire students to cater your event – all of our profit goes straight back into the program. Fill out the contact form and we will send you more information. You can also make a tax-deductible donation to REfire. Here’s our cost breakdown:

$4,800 – One full scholarship, including administrative costs, books, uniform, knives, and testing fees
$1,500 – One living stipend for one student
$350 – One full set of all required textbooks for one student
$600 – Tuition for one student for one week
$150 – One knife set and one full uniform for one student
$100 – One knife set for one student
$70 – One full uniform for one student (one jacket, one pair of pants, one hat, and shoes)
